Hackers say it with flowers!

The Times Business section reported on 6th May that Debenhams was another recent victim of cyber crime.

An estimated 26,000 sets of personal details have been taken, sometime between 24th February and 11th April this year. Reacting to the breach Debenhams have informed all of the effected customers, suspended the associated sites and are working with the banks to block payments and issue new bank cards.

How would your business react to such an incident and what would your obligations be under the General Data Protection Regulations which come into force a little over a year from now?  If you want help preparing your business for the new regulations or, putting in place plans to react to such a cyber attack should your business be unfortunate enough to be attacked, contact Millbridge Systems, where we have the knowledge and experience to help.
