Microsoft makes emergency security fix!

For all of our clients and followers of our news-feed, take note!

Workers for Google’s Project Zero cyber security team spotted an unusual bug in Microsoft’s anti-malware software at the weekend, which allows hackers to take control of targeted devices running Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server operating systems.

Microsoft have responded with speed issuing a fix ahead of their normal updates release schedule.

For users of Microsoft malware products, such as Window’s Defender  you are advised to ensure you are running the latest Windows Defender version (1.1.13704.0), which should update automatically, but you might just want to manually update yourself.
