Microsoft makes emergency security fix!

For all of our clients and followers of our news-feed, take note!

Workers for Google’s Project Zero cyber security team spotted an unusual bug in Microsoft’s anti-malware software at the weekend, which allows hackers to take control of targeted devices running Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server operating systems.

Microsoft have responded with speed issuing a fix ahead of their normal updates release schedule.

For users of Microsoft malware products, such as Window’s Defender ¬†you are advised to ensure you are running the latest Windows Defender version (1.1.13704.0), which should update automatically, but you might just want to manually update yourself.
